ADHD Evaluations with QbTest
(current patients only)
A diagnostic assessment for ADHD involves three main parts: gathering a clinical history through an interview with your provider, an objective measurement of symptoms using QbTest, and the completion of one or more rating scales. QbTest provides a valuable baseline measurement that can help to evaluate any future changes in your activity, attention and impulsivity. QbTest is the only device cleared by the FDA to monitor how a patient is responding to treatment, which can aid in your clinician’s ability to monitor and track your response over time. Having a tool that can provide such insight into diagnoses and treatment options enables your provider to customize your treatment like never before.

Pharmacogenomics (or PGx) testing with Tempus
(current patients only)
Medications are not one-size-fits-all. Did you know that your genes play an important role in how your body interacts with different medications? In fact, more than 97% of patients that received a Tempus genetic test had results that indicated a potential impact to treatment or non-standard medication dosing recommendation. Understanding your genes may help us choose the best medication for you and may help reduce the risk of side effects. Research has shown that the use of a genetic test to inform depression treatment can be almost 2 times more effective than treatment as usual to achieve improvement in your symptoms.

Ongoing Care/Follow ups
Medications can sometimes be helpful tools for reducing the impact of mental health problems in youth. Dr. Grayson uses a shared decision making model to help youth and their families decide whether a medication should be part of the youth's treatment plan. She presents information about the risks, benefits, and alternatives to medications, and helps youths and families determine the best decision for their situation. She works with youths and families to develop a plan for monitoring medication response so the lowest effective dose can be used.

Group Therapy- SUN Groups
Our Social Understanding Groups use a curriculum influenced by the UCLA evidence-based PEERS program. The primary focus of our program is increasing each teen’s self-confidence as well as their understanding of social interactions rather than learning prescribed social skills. This focus promotes autonomy as well as the ability to make an intentional choice when socializing rather than complying with social rules and/or masking. Each group incorporates the themes of self-advocacy, self-regulation, perspective-taking, boundaries, and problem-solving skills into the lesson. Our groups may be appropriate for teens with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, & Depression. Current group information may be found here or by visiting our website cltpeersgroup.com.
